Is there a refund policy?
If the race is cancelled, we will contact you to offer options: you may choose to donate your registration fee to support our community initiatives or receive a refund minus processing fees. Please note that no refund or name change requests will be accepted outside of this cancellation scenario.
What happens in case of bad weather?
The race will proceed rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather conditions, we may postpone or cancel the event for everyone's safety. Updates will be posted on our website and social media pages.
Can I run with a stroller?
Unfortunately, strollers are not permitted on the course, as certain sections are not stroller-friendly. This is to ensure the safety of all participants and maintain the integrity of the race course. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to come enjoy the event with family and friends cheering along the route!
Can I run with a dog?
For the comfort and safety of all participants, running with dogs is not permitted on the course. We love our furry friends, but keeping the race dog-free helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone in our community. Thank you for your understanding and support
Can I run with headphones or earbuds?
Yes, you may run with headphones or earbuds. We kindly ask that you stay aware of your surroundings and be respectful of volunteers and fellow participants.
I don’t run—can I walk the race?
Yes, you may walk, but we only accept walkers in the 1 km, 2 km, and 5 km distances.
Will a light snack be provided after the race?
Yes! All participants will receive a complimentary light snack after their race to help them refuel and celebrate their achievement.
Drinks and additional snacks will also be available for purchase nearby for the whole family to enjoy.
Will there be a canteen on site?
Yes, a canteen will be set up near the start. All proceeds from the canteen will directly support local community Lakeside pool. We encourage you to stop by and support this great cause!
Will there be sponsors at the event?
Yes, several partners will be present to add to the festive atmosphere. Take this opportunity to discover their products while supporting local activities.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available on the surrounding streets. We recommend arriving a little early to find a spot easily and to respect local parking regulations.
When and how can I pick up my race kit?
Pickup dates will be available in the days leading up to the race. Details regarding the pickup times and locations will be shared by email and on our social media channels.
Important: If you are registered only for the 1 km or 2 km distances, you will be able to pick up your kit at the information tent on race day, until 11:00 a.m. There is no need to arrive as early as 8:00 a.m.
